Spring has Sprung

It's Spring!

On September 24th my parents went to do a bit of work and check on the progress on the hops. They might still be little, but 4 out of 5 are shooting. Temperatures are still fairly low and as you can tell from the fog it's not exactly blindingly sunny yet, but so far, so good.

A rainy August

Just a quick update - after planting the hop rhizomes Weeaproinah has had a whopping 36 inches of rain for the month of August.

As I forgot to mention it earlier, the initial planting was one rhizome each of Chinook, Hersbrucker, Cascade, Perle and Fuggles.
